Section 58 and 59 of the County Governments Act No.17 of 2012 respectively provides for the composition and mandates of the County Public Service Board. Duties and Responsibility
1.    Responsible for efficient and effective organization, co-ordination, control and supervision of all audit or administrative functions in the County.

Requirements for Appointment
  1. Be a Kenyan citizen.
  2. Be a holder of Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Management (Accounting or Finance option); Economics or Commerce from a recognized institution.
  3. Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Commerce or other relevant equivalent qualification from a recognized institution will be an added advantage;
  4. Passed Part III of the Certified Public Accountants Examination, CPA (K);
  5. A member of Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) or Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Association of Certified Fraud Examiners; and in good standing.
  6. At least Ten (10) years working experience with three years in Internal audit or at the grade of Deputy Internal Auditor or private sector for a minimum period of ten (5) years

  8. Be conversant with the provisions of the Public Financial Management Act.

Duties and Responsibility
1.    The County Director of health shall be the technical advisor on all matters relating to health within the County;
2.    The technical advisor to the County Health Executive Committee member and the Governor;

4.    Responsible for full implementation of approved County Health  systems, structures and policies.
5.    Supervise all health services within the County; promote the public health and the prevention, limitation or suppression of infectious, communicable or preventable diseases within the County;
6.    Prepare and publish reports and statistical or other information relative to the public health within the County; report periodically to the Director-General for health on all public health occurrences including disease outbreaks, disasters and any other health matters;
7.    Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the appointing authority and any other written law.

3.    Have at least five years’ experience in management of health services.
4.    Must have demonstrated leadership and good performance in the previous assignments.
5.    Certificate in Strategic Leadership Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from recognized institution.
6.    Certificate of Computer Application from recognized institution
7.    Meet the Provisions of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya

Duties and Responsibility
1.    Managing a pediatric emergency unit, a pediatric intensive care and manage newborn intensive care unit
2.    Attending and managing acute paediatric cases and emergencies ,life support issues as well as chronic cases and referrals in the outpatient centre.
3.    Facilitating inpatient admission and follow-up diagnostics, review and management of patients in the paediatric ward and newborn unit.
4.    Conduct well-baby/Well-child consultations for growth and development monitoring, nutrition consultation and vaccination.
5.    Provide Clinical education to patients and caregivers on common childhood illnesses, childhood immunization and nutrition.
6.    Attend Newborn deliveries in maternity/Theatre department and follow-up care for all newborns until discharge from the hospital.
