1. SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT OFFICER II J.G CPSB 10 ‘J’ Positions: - 3 Terms of Service: - Permanent and Pensionable
Duties and Responsibilities 1. Assist in the preparation of request for quotation, Initiation of bids, Request for proposal and coordination of their timely dispatch 2. Prepare LPO and LSO 3. Register all documents and handle all customers and supplies data base 4. Prepare reports concerning supply chain management operations 5. Assist the DSCM in maintaining current up to date procurement documents and manuals 6. Routing, copying and circulation of quotes, bids and proposal for evaluation, documents and manuals 7. Researching on pricing, obtaining quotes locally on low value items 8. Assist in coordination of the selected bidder to ensure completion of administrative processes including bid security, contract award notice and distribution of contract documents accordingly 9. Assist in management of the administrative process throughout the duration of the preparation of all documentation until the award of the contract 10. Preparation of the management information and statistical reports 11. Check and classify the precedence of requisition and process as priority setting of the goods and services needed. 12. Coordinate with departments and make sure the right goods/services are acquired 13. Provide purchased goods/services to the responsible receiving office and do all actions for completing the process 14. Maintain appropriate records to ensure that procurement process, decision and contractual agreement are accurately documented for accountability and audit purpose 15. Perform other duties related to the field as assigned by the Director, Supply Chain Management.
Requirements for Appointment For appointment to this grade, an officer must:- 1. Be a Kenyan citizen 2. Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement / Supply Chain Management/ Logistics or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution 3. Master’s degree will be an added advantage 4. Be a member of the Institute of Supplies Management of Kenya 5. Have 3 years relevant working experience 6. Have Certificate in Computer Applications.
2. ACCOUNTANT II J.G CPSB 10 ‘J’ Positions: - 1 Terms of Service: - Permanent and Pensionable
Duties and Responsibilities 1. Prepare and verify vouchers in accordance with the laid down rules and regulations involving primary data entry. 2. Routine accounting work such as balancing of cash books, imprest and advances ledgers. 3. Maintenance of primary records such as cashbooks, Ledgers, registers and preparing of simple management reports, e.g. imprest and expenditure returns. 4. Safe custody of records and assets under him/her. 5. Preparation of expenditure and revenue returns on a quarterly basis.
Requirements for Appointment For appointment to this post, a candidate must: - 1. Kenyan Citizen 2. Have Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounting or Finance option), Business Administration (Accounting option) from a recognized institution or any other relevant equivalent qualification OR 3. A pass in part II of the Certified Public Accountants (CPA) Examination or it’s recognized equivalent. 4. Master’s degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage 5. Be registered with the relevant professional body 6. Be a holder of a computer proficiency certificate.
3. REVENUE CLERK J.G CPSB 14 ‘E’ Positions: - 30 Terms of Service: - Permanent and Pensionable
Duties and Responsibilities 1. Develop and implement a plan to create demand and achieve revenue growth 2. Coordination, monitoring and supervision of daily revenue collection within the ward. 3. Allocating and assigning duties to the staff within their areas of jurisdiction. 4. Maintain schedule for revenue sources within the wards to ensure revenue is collected effectively and efficiently. 5. Submission of statutory reports(daily/weekly/monthly/yearly) 6. Ensure that only genuine and authorized county receipts are issued 7. Preform any other duty that may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements for Appointment For appointment to this post, a candidate must: - 1. Be a Kenyan Citizen 2. Be a holder of Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or Kenya Certificate of Education (KCE) or its equivalent. 3. Be a holder of a computer proficiency certificate; 4. Meet requirement of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS All applicants are expected to present the following additional documents during interviews for purpose of complying with the provision of Chapter Six of the Constitution
1. Tax compliance certificates 2. Clearance from HELB where necessary 3. Clearance from the Ethics and anti- corruption commission 4. Clearance from the CRB. 5. Certificate of Good Conduct from the police
