    1. REF: SCPSB/78/02/2021 HUMAN RESOURCE ASSISTANT II J.G CPSB 10 ‘J’

 Positions: - 2

 Terms of Service: - Permanent and Pensionable 

 

 Duties and Responsibilities

1. Handle complex HR Clerical tasks on an analytical nature

2. Support Relevant Board Committees as may be assigned from time to time.

3. Prepare HR Budgets and estimates

4. Assist in the development of training needs assesments, Indents for recruitment and Leave management

5. Carry out operational tasks on execution of existing HR rules, regulations and procedures

6. Prepare monthly and quarterly HR reports

7. Process promotions and requests for recruitment under the guidance of a senior HR Officer

8. Maintain the establishment and complement control in the county public service

9. Undertake administration of county Public Service Promotional Examination Occupational tests.

10. Review and make recommendations in respect to qualifications of officers in the county public service.

11. Review work processes with a view to enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery.

12. Assist in scheduling of interviews for shortlisted candidates  

13. Any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor

 

Requirements for Appointment

  For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:-

1. Served in the grade of Human Resource Management Assistant III or its equivalent for at least three (3) years.

2. Certificate in Human Resource Management or its equivalent from a recognized institution

                       OR

3. Diploma in Human Resource Management/Personnel Management/ Labour Relations or its comparable equivalent from a recognized institution

4. Registered Member of the Institute of Human Resource Management – Kenya or Its comparable equivalent and in good standing

5. Certificate in Computer Application

6. Meet requirement of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.

 

 

   2. REF: SCPSB/79/02/2021 ICT OFFICER III J.G CPSB 11 ‘H’ 

           Positions: - 1

 Terms of Service: - Permanent and Pensionable 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Writing and testing simple computer programs according to instructions and specifications;

2. Assisting in the implementation of the computer systems;

3. Providing user support and training of users;

4. Repairs and maintenance of ICT equipment and associated peripherals;

5. Monitoring the performance of ICT equipment;

6. Reporting any faults for further action. 

7. Any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor

 

 

Requirements for Appointment

   For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: - 

1. Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade C plain with at least a C- in mathematics and English /Kiswahili or its approved equivalent

2. Diploma in any of the following fields: Computer Science, Electrical/ Electronics engineering or its equivalent qualification from a recognised Institution

3. Meet requirement of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.

 

 

   3. REF: SCPSB/80/02/2021 OFFICE ASSISTANT III J.G CPSB 11 ‘H’  

       Positions: - 5

 Terms of Service: - Permanent and Pensionable 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

1. To record, file and retrieve office documents.

2. To manage office space arrangement and design.

3. To ensure access to require documents as necessary.

4. Ensure record database security.

5. Compile, gather and organize reports, documents and records as required

6. Assist the Board Committees in the discharge of their duties as assigned.

7. Any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor

 

Requirements for Appointment

   For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: - 

1. Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education.

2. Diploma in business management or its equivalent qualification from a recognised institution

3. Certificate in Computer Applications

4. Meet requirement of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.

 

 

   4. REF: SCPSB/81/02/2021 SENIOR SUPPORT STAFF J.G CPSB 12 ‘G’

       Positions: - 2

 Terms of Service: - Permanent and Pensionable 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Maintain Office Cleanliness through sweeping and mopping.

2. Ensure proper disposal of waste.

3. Wipe dust on office furniture and equipment.

4. Ensure proper arrangement of items in the office.

5. Ensure the safety of the office by locking all doors and windows and storage of important documents and materials.

6. Prepare and serve tea for staff 

7. Any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor

  

Requirements for Appointment

   For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: - 

1. Be a Kenyan citizen of sound mind

2. Holder of Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education or KCE Division IV 

                      OR

3. Kenya Certificate of Primary Education plus 2 years’  relevant experience 

4. Meet requirement of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.

 

 

  5. REF: SCPSB/82/02/2021 CLERICAL OFFICER I J.G CPSB 12 ‘G’

Positions: - 1

Terms of Service: - Permanent and Pensionable 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Compiling records;

2. Sorting, filing and dispatching letters;

3. Maintaining an efficient filing system;

4. Computation of Financial or Statistical records based on routine or special sources of information;

5. Preparing payment vouchers; and

6. Compiling data and drafting simple letters

7. Any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor 

 

Requirements for Appointment

1. Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C Plain or its approved equivalent; and

2. Proficiency in computer applications.

3. Meet requirement of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.

 

 

 

 

 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

All applicants are expected to present the following additional documents during interviews for purpose of complying with the provision of Chapter Six of the Constitution

 

1. Tax compliance certificates

2. Clearance from HELB where necessary

3. Clearance from the Ethics and anti- corruption commission

4. Clearance from the CRB.

5. Certificate of Good Conduct from the police
