    1. PRINCIPAL HUMAN CAPITAL MANAGEMENT OFFICER J.G CPSB 06 ‘N’

 Positions: - 2

 Terms of Service: - Permanent and Pensionable 

 

 Duties and Responsibilities

1. Ensure correct interpretation and implementation of human capital regulations relating to pensions, human resource information systems, labour laws and other statutes relating to human resource management

2. Processing, analysis and presentation quarterly staff return reports from the user departments

3. Updating the Human Resource talent pool database, staff establishment, policies and operational documents and manuals

4. Analyse staff progression and makes proposals for career development

5. Represent the Board in policy development meetings both at the executive, legislature and agencies where necessary

6. Ensure compliance with legislations, rules and guidelines

7. Coordinate, up-dating and maintenance of the Human Resource Planning, Management and Development database

 

Requirements for Appointment

1. Kenyan Citizen

2. Bachelor degree in Human Resource Management/Development/Business Administration/ Labour studies/ Industrial relations from a recognized institution in Kenya

3. Master’s degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage

4. At least 3 years’ experience in Human Capital Management or Industrial relations.

5. Certificate in management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution

6. Member of human resource professional body

7. Certificate in Computer application skills from a recognized institution

 

 

   2. HUMAN RESOURCE    MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT II (HR METRICS AND ANALYTICS) J.G CPSB 10 ‘J’ 

           Positions: - 1

 Terms of Service: - Permanent and Pensionable 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Responsible for compiling, structuring, and analyzing Human Resources data to make conclusions that helps in decision making

2. Compile and present HR data and metrics from the Human Resource Information system (HRIS) and payroll outputs

3. Conduct workload analysis

4. Develop assessments for potential and current employees and update employment records

5. Support recruiting processes with data and statistics for trends and patterns

6. Present results of employee performance evaluations

7. Gather and disburse government labor statistics, new employment regulations, and labor laws

8. Prepare reports of data results and present findings to senior leadership

9. Recognize and suggest short-term and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics

10. Contribute to system decision-making, scoping, and arranging HR system projects in support of the overall HR strategy of the Board

 

 

Requirements for Appointment

1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, or related field

2. Demonstrated knowledge in Quantitative skills and techniques

3. Conversant with Human Resource Analytics software and tools

4. At least 3 years of experience in human resources analytics

5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

6. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

7. Capacity to apply discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information

 

 

  3. LEGAL ASSISTANT J.G CPSB 10 ‘J’

Positions: - 1

Terms of Service: - Permanent and Pensionable 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Provide legal support to the Board and Secretariat to enhance the Boards effectiveness

2. Handle legal communication that is addressed to the Board and give preliminary recommendations

3. Participate in the negotiations and preparations of Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA’s)

4. Prepare case briefs and summarize depositions, interrogatories and testimony

5. Conduct relevant legal investigations and prepare statistical/documentary research report

6. Locate and develop case relevant information

7. Prepare and file basic legal documents and correspondence

8. Review cases to determine whether they have legal merit

9. Prepare preliminary legal papers and briefs, researching legal issues, and drafting legal documents

10. Conduct research on legal issues to support litigation efforts

11. Interpreting laws, regulations, and policies to advise clients about how these apply to their situation.

12. Participate in preparation of Board’s reports

 

Requirements for Appointment

1. Diploma in Legal Studies from an institution recognized in Kenya

2. Bachelor’s Degree in Law will be an added advantage

3. Membership with a relevant recognized professional body

4. Possess at least 2 years of relevant working experience

5. Certificate in Computer Application Skills

 

 

   4. OFFICE ASSISTANT III J.G CPSB 11 ‘H’  

       Positions: - 5

 Terms of Service: - Permanent and Pensionable 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

1. To record, file and retrieve office documents.

2. To manage office space arrangement and design.

3. To ensure access to require documents as necessary.

4. Ensure record database security.

5. Compile, gather and organize reports, documents and records as required

6. Assist the Board Committees in the discharge of their duties as assigned.

7. Any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor

 

Requirements for Appointment

   For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: - 

1. Kenyan Citizen

2. Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education.

3. Diploma in business management or its equivalent qualification from a recognised institution

4. Bachelor’s Degree in relevant area will be an added advantage

5. Certificate in Computer Applications

 

 

   5. SENIOR SUPPORT STAFF J.G CPSB 12 ‘G’

       Positions: - 2

 Terms of Service: - Permanent and Pensionable 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Maintain Office Cleanliness through sweeping and mopping.

2. Ensure proper disposal of waste.

3. Wipe dust on office furniture and equipment.

4. Ensure proper arrangement of items in the office.

5. Ensure the safety of the office by locking all doors and windows and storage of important documents and materials.

6. Prepare and serve tea for staff 

7. Any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor

  

Requirements for Appointment

   For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: - 

1. Be a Kenyan citizen of sound mind

2. Holder of Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education or KCE Division IV 

                      OR

3. Kenya Certificate of Primary Education plus 2 years’  relevant experience 

 

 

 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
